Two Unmissable Operas are Coming to Newcastle Theatre Royal
Partnership
Opera lovers and first-timers alike have the perfect excuse to experience the thrill of live opera this November as Opera North returns to Newcastle Theatre Royal with two unmissable productions
Rigoletto runs from Wednesday 4th-Friday 6th November, followed by Eugene Onegin on Saturday 7th November.
Verdi's Rigoletto is a gripping tale of power, revenge and devotion, featuring some of opera's most recognisable music, including the famous La donna è mobile.
Meanwhile, Tchaikovksy's Eugene Onegin is a moving story of love, regret and missed opportunities, brought to life through sweeping melodies and emotional storytelling.
A bucket-list cultural experience, opera combines extraordinary live music, stunning voices and powerful drama.
For those who've never been before, Opera North offers £20 'new to opera' tickets, while Newcastle Theatre Royal's 18–30 membership gives younger audiences access to discounted tickets, priority booking and exclusive events across opera, ballet, drama and musicals.
