We can't wait to open the doors to Living North's Christmas Fair 2023 at Newcastle Racecourse from 26th-29th October

We'll be bringing a whole heap of festive joy to Newcastle Racecourse. Here's why you won't want to miss out!

1. Get all your Christmas shopping under one roof

With more than 250 carefully-selected stands, from artisan designer-makers, local food producers and fashion retailers to homewares, gifts and accessories, and of course special Christmas decorations, Living North’s Christmas Fair is the biggest and best seasonal shopping event in the North. With a host of unique, handpicked stands selling products you simply can’t find on the high street, our exhibitors have been working hard to craft even more amazing gifts and treats this year. It’s a great opportunity to support local and British brands, and you’ll be able to find special and unique gifts for the fussiest of friends and family.

2. Stock up your Christmas pantry

This time of year is all about festive feasting and our fantastic food producers will not disappoint. With a huge range of artisan treats from cake, chocolates and puds to local chutneys, preserves and cheeses, Living North’s Christmas Fair has something for everyone – check out some of the fab foodies who’ll be joining us here.

3. …and your festive bar!

Don’t forget to stock up on Christmas drinks too – you’ll be spoilt for choice with our range of artisan tipples, from ginger wine and craft ales to artisan gin and flavoured vodkas. Cheers to that!

4. Deck the halls

With a huge choice of independent makers, designers and artists at our fair, you can find artisan cards, wrapping paper and decorations, so you’ll be ready for the big day well ahead of time. And there’s also a great selection of homeware stands who want to make sure your home is cosy and bright long after Twelfth Night is out.

5. Live music

To add to the Christmas cheer, live performances from local choirs and musicians will be the soundtrack to your shopping experience. So grab a group of your favourite people and enjoy a day of fabulously festive fun. When you want a break from shopping, head to Living North’s festive Prosecco Bar for a celebratory glass of gin or fizz, or the Christmas Café for something more substantial.

6. Learn from the best

See some of the best and the newest chefs from across the region in action in our Chef Demo Kitchen. Richard Sim from The Potted Lobster, Greg Lambert from SIX, Eddie Saint from Jesmond Dene House and Life Kitchen’s Ryan Riley are just some of those who will be showcasing their culinary skills in our kitchen, and you can sample their food and take away some top tips to help you shine in your own this Christmas.
