Fair Highlights

Living North Christmas Fair
We are so excited to see you at the Living North Christmas Fair 2019! Our Christmas Fair offers something for everyone, with everything you need under one roof. Here are some of the highlights…

All your Christmas shopping under one roof

Whether you are looking for the best fresh produce for your Christmas lunch, or the ideal present from handpicked independent retailers to give a loved one on Christmas morning, you will be able to find it all conveniently under one roof.

We’re back for a second year at Kingston Park Stadium!

Our biggest venue to date, Kingston Park Stadium, not only provides all the space you need for your big Christmas shop, it also packs in over 250 exhibitors and offers ample parking and nearby transport links.

Warm up with mulled wine

You will be able to warm up with a mug of spiced mulled wine whilst catching up with friends and taking stock of a great day out.

Live chef demonstrations from the region’s best chefs

Where else than our dedicated Chef Demonstration Kitchen can you see some of the region's best chefs talk through how they prep for Christmas Day? Answer: No where. With live chef demonstrations running throughout the weekend, this will be the best place to learn how to cook – and fuel the rest of your shopping trip with their samples.

Gifts that aren’t on the high street

You can’t find the products our exhibitors are selling on the high street, as ours is a one-of-a-kind event, meaning you will be gifting truly unique gifts to friends and family this Christmas.

Guilt free shopping - support our chosen charity, Daft as a Brush, when you visit the fair

This year our North East Christmas Fair is supporting Daft as a Brush. You will be able to drop off your bags, buggies and umbrellas and make the most of your day unencumbered, while also making a difference to this worthwhile cause.

Glass of fizz in The Lodge Bar

Every hour is fizz o'clock at the Living North Christmas Fair thanks to our chic, alpine bar  – The Lodge Bar. Here you can pull up a seat, set down your shopping and relax with a glass of the finest fizz, pimped with your choice of flavours, before your next round of shopping.

Take a break and enjoy afternoon tea

This year you can take a break from shopping and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea from the comfort of one of Kingston Park Stadium’s many private boxes. What better way to fuel a day’s shopping than with cream covered scones, cake and finger sandwiches?

Stock up your Christmas pantry

With over 100 foodie exhibitors, this year you can stock up on everything from pies, and cheese, to gin and cakes, meaning you will be sure to impress your guests this festive season.

Music from local choirs

You will be entertained over the weekend by local choirs, singing all your favourite festive melodies to really get you in the festive spirit.

Grab a bite to eat at either The Forest Cafe or Merry Berry Bistro

All that shopping is bound to work up an appetite. Drop by The Forest Cafe or Merry Berry Bistro, who will be offering a range of delicious options, including fresh seafood, local stotties and vegan specials.
