An altogether different Asian dining experience, Cardamom Black’s striking interior is the perfect setting to enjoy cocktails and browse the extensive menu. This family-run guest house has a great restaurant with stunning views across Nidderdale. With the emphasis firmly on local and seasonal produce, there’s a good range of reasonably priced bar meals and an à la carte menu available. Dishes include pork lion or steak, merlot and red pepper pie, but don’t miss the fish specials menu which includes the likes of Whitby scampi, de-shelled king prawns and pan-seared seabass.
