Hendrick's Negroni
The Negroni is the classic aperitivo cocktail
Aperitivo is a tasty little Italian tradition of drinking certain cocktails before dinner to stimulate the appetite and get your tastebuds going. For this recipe we keep it really simple and classic, using the traditional method of equal parts gin, Campari and vermouth, because if it's not broken, don't try to fix it.
Ingredients
- 25ml Hendrick’s Gin
- 25ml Campari
- 25ml sweet vermouth
- Orange twist to garnish
Method
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with lots of ice.
Stir for 10–15 seconds.
Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with an orange twist.
