November 2023
Reading time 1 Minute

Want to create some wonderful Christmas baked delights? Why not try these delicious melted snowman treats?

Using candy melts, this is the perfect project to get you into the Christmas spirit and it's also a fun activity to make with the kids!
Ingredients
  • Ingredients
  • Candy melts – white, black and orange
  • White marshmallows
  • White sprinkles
  • Black soft pearls
  • You’ll need
  • Piping bag
  • Greaseproof paper
  • A paintbrush
  • Cocktail sticks
Method

To begin, line two trays with greaseproof paper.

Melt the candy melts in a bowl over a pan of simmering water or in short bursts in the microwave.

Spoon dollops of the candy melts onto the lined trays, slightly smaller than the size of a fried egg.

Add a white marshmallow to each dollop and scatter over white sprinkles to give your treats a frosty look.

Then, add three black pearls for the buttons and two for the eyes – dip each eye into the melted candy melts to attach them to the marshmallows.

Melt a handful of orange candy melts and add this to a piping bag. Let the candy melts firm up slightly so that it is not so runny.

Snip off the end of the piping bag and pipe a carrot nose on each marshmallow.

Melt a handful of black candy melts and use the end of a paintbrush or a small ball tool to dip into the candy melts and stamp on a line of black circles for the mouth.

Dip the end of a wooden cocktail stick into the black candy melts and draw on the twig arms.
