Serving up delicious sharing plates since 1995, this long-standing tapas bar creates small plates inspired by Greek and Spanish cuisine. The menu is extensive and (understandably) if you can’t decide, there’s always the 15-plate set sharing menu for parties of more than six to enjoy.

Spanish food merchants Kaltur have been trading since 2011, but it’s their tiny tapas restaurant on Newcastle’s High Bridge which has brought them to wider attention. They now have a larger premises on Dean Street too.
