Here our are favourite pie destinations to visit in Yorkshire in British Pie Week 2017

Silversmiths
Every Tuesday evening is Pie Night at the award-winning Silversmiths in Sheffield. The Fox and Rabbit Inn
After a busy day of walking in the North York Moors National Park, head to this traditional country pub that serves a hearty steak and ale pie. All ingredients are sourced locally and the pie comes with its own gravy jug and homemade chips. Lockton 01751 460213 www.foxandrabbit.co.uk

Humble Pie ‘n’ Mash
A family-run business in a lovingly restored 16th century building, Humble Pie ‘n’ Mash make homemade meat and vegetable pies that come served with buttery mash and drizzled in gravy. The Hull Pie
This pie chain in Hull sells fresh pies, mash and sides to eat in or take away (and if you’re extremely lazy, they even deliver!). Popular favourites include the barbecue pulled pork or jerk chicken pies. Make sure you have them with the sweet potato fries – it’s a winning combination. Locations across Hull 01482 345735

The Piebald Inn
The Piebald Inn in Filey brings ‘Wold Famous’ pies to their hungry customers. Skipton Pie and Mash Shop

Ring O’ Bells 
A crust above the others, Ring O’Bells’ famous meat and potato pie is made with shortcrust pastry and cooked in John Smith’s ale. Fancy fish? The Black Swan
The historic Black Swan may be haunted, but don’t let that deter you from trying their excellent pies.
