1881 at Wrea Head Hall
The restaurant at this luxurious and independent country house hotel is found in the original oak-panelled dining room, where the windows overlook the gardens and take in views up to the National Park. All of the dishes on the constantly-evolving menu at 1881 are made from scratch using locally-sourced ingredients (in winter that includes pheasant and venison from nearby estates, while in summer you’ll find produce grown in the kitchen garden and orchard used in many dishes). Wrea Head Hall also offers a fabulous afternoon tea, complete with sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, and a delicious selection of miniature cakes and desserts.

The Farrier

Saltmoore

The Waterside

Signals
This welcoming daytime café and bar in the heart of Saltburn has been around since 1986. Their breakfast and brunch dishes are a treat, but they’re best known for their famous parmo-loaded fries and delicious bao buns. Wanting to take away?
