For something extra special, Michelin-starred The Pipe and Glass Inn is just a 10-minute drive from Beverley town centre. Finally, for a taste of local history, grab a pint and find a corner under the original gas lights at The White Horse Inn (affectionately known to locals as Nellies).

Head to Aura for gorgeous womenswear, and Daniella Draper for stunning British-made jewellery.
