2. Learn something new in the LIVE Lounge
Take time to learn a new skill and get advice from the experts in our interactive LIVE Lounge. Living North’s own gardening columnist Ross Pearson will share his expertise to help you make the most of your own garden, while Durham Mama Style will teach you how to add colour to your wardrobe, and Nicci from PilatEASE will show you how to improve your strength and flexibility. And don’t miss exclusive home styling tips from the experts at John Lewis & Partners.
3. See the North East’s top chefs in action
In our LIVE Chef Demo Kitchen you can pick up tips from some of the best chefs from across the North – including new to the stage Ian Waller from the Michelin-starred Restaurant Pine, Paul Johnson from Blanchland’s Lord Crewe Arms, and Brian James who has brought his own style of fusion cookery to neighbourhood bistro ARLO. They’ll share their top tips and tricks as they recreate some of their own favourite dishes especially for you.
4. Food glorious food
Our renowned Food Hall returns and our fabulous food producers will be on hand with a delicious range of artisan produce, from handmade pastries and puddings, bakes, cakes and tarts, to specialist cheese, meat, plenty of delicious spices and sauces, and of course artisan spirits. With all your old favourites and plenty of new foodies too, meet the people behind the produce and discover some of the best local food and drink found in the North East and beyond. Plus, for the first time at Living North LIVE, don’t miss the chance to enjoy street food in the sunshine in our brand-new street food area!
